Extra Life is an organization that raises money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through gaming. Each year, Extra Life hosts an international gaming marathon to raise proceeds that will benefit the children of these hospitals in the US and Canada. The organization was created in 2008 and has since raised over $22 million!

Strictly Businesses Gears of War team captain Gabriel “NJCubano” Diaz is proud to be involved with such a wonderful charity:
“I’m excited to have the opportunity to be able to give back to children in need through gaming! I want to thank The Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Jersey as well as the Director Nicole Fulmino for working with me on this awesome project. This also wouldn’t be possibly without Jessica Chernetz from Microsoft. Jessica has played a huge role in this event and without her we wouldn’t be where we are. Extra-Life.org and CMH are both great foundations that are giving back to the children who truly need our help. It’s a dream come true for me to be able to do something of such a big impact through professional gaming. If you asked me about doing something like this when I was 16 years old I couldn’t tell you what I would of said. Please come out and show some support on November 5th at the Bridgewater, NJ Microsoft Store. All donations are welcomed and will go straight to the charity.”
Strictly Business is proud to work with Gabriel in his involvement with the community, and the organization is excited for the chance to give back to those less fortunate.
We hope to see you at the event! You can also participate by watching the event on NJ Cubano’s Twitch channel. See you all Nov 5th!
